Notebooks and Notes

Notes and Note List

• Fixed a formatting bug in images that caused them to grow visually each time the note was refreshed.
• Fixed a problem with receiving image attributes (geo-data, etc.) from the server.

Synchronization

• Implemented basic conflict resolution for note changes: if the note was changed on both server and client, the locally changed note is copied to a “Conflicting changes” notebook before being overwritten with the server copy.
• Cleaned up the synchronization log (the full log is still generated as a text file in the \My Evernote Files\Log folder).
• Miscellaneous sync bug fixes.

Tags and Attributes

• Attributes now work properly, displaying matching notes in the currently selected notebook rather than all notebooks.

Import and Export

• Fixed conversion of ink notes from Apitek tablets.

Miscellaneous

• Fixed a problem with offline mode consuming 100% CPU.
• Added the ability to select between ‘system default’ mail client and ‘user default’ mail client in the Mail tab of the Tools->Options... menu.
• Fixed a problem with the Tag Locator feature (click on left Organizer Panel and type any characters to find matches). It now shows only matching tags rather than tags, saved searches, attributes, and notebooks.

• Sync failures caused by transient network problems will no longer pop up a modal dialog. Instead a little red exclamation will appear over the sync toolbar icon and in the lower left of the main window. Clicking either of these will display the error. The exclamations will disappear after a successful sync.

• Fixed a bug where HTML entities (e.g.  ) were being stripped from notes downloaded from the server.
