It was nuclear powered. The size of a Marriott hotel and 400 tons. George Dyson's father worked on it, starting in General Atomic in 1957. Did I mention that scientists from the hydrogen bomb worked on this thing? Why? Because the nukes weren't used as fuel like they are at Homer Simpson's workplace. They were hoping to smash the atoms and direct the explosions for 20 megatons of lift!</p>

In this video, George also steps through passenger acceleration profiles, emergency plans if Orion failed to clear the atmosphere a...</p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>

        <div class="ennote">

        Welcome to Evernote,

            We created Evernote so people would have a single place for
            the things that matter to them.

          Use Evernote and remember everything
          <br clear="none"/>

        <ul><li>
            Type
            notes, to-dos, brainstorms, and reminders
          </li><li>
            Snap
            photos of anything from whiteboards to wine labels then
            email or sync them
          </li><li>
            Clip
            web pages and have them stored and accessible in their
            entirety, even offline
          </li><li>
            Write
            handwritten notes using digital ink or take snapshots of
            regular ink notes
          </li><li>
            Record
            audio clips and memos to listen to later
          </li><li>
            Email or MMS
            notes from your cell phone to your personalized Evernote
            address*
          </li></ul>
        <p>
          And then
          find
          it all whenever you want on your
          computer,
          mobile phone, and the
          web.
        </p>
        Install Evernote on all the platforms you use

        <div class="ennote">The last item would be one of my favorites ... see the little clipper button that is highlighted ... this is the magic copying machine to evernote .. Evernote is one of those incredibly powerful programs that will take every bit of info that you want to throw into it and hyperlink every word with a lightning fast search ... It also has inking capability and the wild abilty to search images (if you photograph or scan an image, putting it into the evernote app will allow whatever is written in the image to be searchable) ... this application has been around a while and I do believe that a new upgrade is approaching soon ... they have this one at a very reasonable price now that a new version is coming .. anyway, once you highlight what you want (notice the pc world article in the background) click the button and it takes whatever you have highlighted and transfers into a note - the metaphor is a long sheet of notetaking paper, thus the date ribbon on the side to give you a sense of chronology on your captures ... anyway, this note is now searchable for any key word or combinations you may wish, you can also tag as you see on the left, but with being able to search for any words, this may prove to be a timewaster ... the final quick trick with this one is that I print to a pdf file which allows me to attach for mail and also file for reference within my normal file system ..<br clear="none"/><br clear="none"/>Enjoy these tips and thanks for checking in at Mobile Musings ....</div>

<p>Tiny Copter Attack!</p>

<p>
We just can't seem to get enough of tiny R/C helicopters. They're taking the ThinkGeek office by storm... swarming and amusing the office dogs. Buzzing delightfully as we procrastinate on our TPS reports. Even the robotic monkeys are impressed at the tiny size and amazing technology. These mini copters can take off from your hand and circle your desk as your co-workers gape in amazement. Full control allows you to hover and turn left or right as your copter moves slowly forward. Two different channels let you to fly with a friend. But practice-up on your aviation skills if you hope to challenge the expert pilots at ThinkGeek.
</p>

<p>
<b>Important Note</b><br clear="none"/></p>
You will have to practice your flying before you can do as well as we do in the video. Keep the following in mind: You can adjust the forward speed of the copter by twisting the tail slightly right or left before flight (see the instructions). Right turns are wider than left turns due to the dynamics of the rotor. Luckily for you the Palmsize R/C Helicopter is forgiving on crashes.</div></div>

<p>Wi-Fi Signal Status for You and the World!</p>

<p>
Here at ThinkGeek we're pretty lazy when it comes to technology. We expect our gadgets to do all the busywork while we focus on the high level important tasks like reading blogs. That's why we hate to have to crack open our laptops just to see if there is any wi-fi internet access about... and keychain wi-fi detectors, we would have to actually remove them from our pockets to look at them. But now thanks to the ingenious ThinkGeek robot monkeys you can display the current wi-fi signal strength to yourself and everyone around you with this stylish Wi-Fi Detector Shirt. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt dynamically change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. Finally you can get the attention you deserve as others bow to you as their reverential wi-fi god, while geeky chicks swoon at your presence. You can thank us later.
