Evernote and Mail Filtering

Evernote may send need to send you email in several different situations. For example, Evernote sends email to confirm your registration, and also uses email if you forget your Evernote password or need technical support.

You may need to configure your mail account to accept Evernote email to avoid problems with spam filters that incorrectly categorize our emails as Junk Mail. This page gives instructions for configuring your mail system to accept Evernote mail.

Evernote will periodically send you announcements about our service and other partners. You can always opt out of these annoucements by going to: Settings and modifying your Contact Preferences.

Hotmail

To receive your confirmation email from Evernote, you may need to add "@evernote.com" to your list of "Safe senders" in the Options section of your Hotmail account:

Once you have made this change, you may need to use the Forgot Password link to resend an account activation email to yourself if you were unable to receive the previous emails. You may also need to check for our confirmation email within your "Junk" folder in Hotmail.
